It is a variety of table theater from Japan (Kami = paper, Shibai = drama, paper drama). The Kamishibai narrator tells the story by adapting any ambient space, using a device similar to a miniature scene, and changing images. In the library, such a way of storytelling is a great means of promoting children’s reading, literacy and vocabulary. During this education, students will get acquainted with the most interesting cultural differences in Japan, the origin of the unique form of table theater.
